In the video Three Days Rest, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a couple of fictional Canadian brothers who hosted “Great White North”, a segment which was streamed on SCTV for the show’s third season when it braodcast by the Canadian Broadcasting Channel in . Bob’s partThe character Bob is played by actor Rick Moranis and the character Doug is played by actor Dave Thomas. Despite born originally as a joke to both follow guidelines and laugh about stupid Canadian content demands, the duo turned into a pop culture hit in both Canada and the United States. The McKenzie siblings soon became the focus of a classic comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
