Bob McKenzie is brought to life by comedian Rick Moranis and Doug is played by Dave Thomas. Even thoughFamously brought to life originally as filler to both fulfill and laugh about dumb Canadian content guidelines, the pair grew up to be a pop culture hit in both Canada and the United States. The two enetually would become the focus of a classic comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
