In the video Tonight on CNN inside Business commercial (1991) Dave Thomas, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a duo of hilarious Canadian comedians who created “Great White North”, a show which was shown on SCTV – second city television for the show’s most watched season when it was broadcast on CBC Television in 1980. Bob McKenzie is performed by hilarious comedian Rick Moranis and Doug McKenzie is brought to life by actor Dave Thomas. Which was developed originally as an idea to both follow guidelines and laugh at non sensical Canadian content legislation, the duo became a pop culture smash hit in both Canada and America. The pair became the focus of a famous comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
