In the video Tony and Jocelyn do Bob and Doug MacKenzie 12 days of Christmas, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a group of strange Canadian family members who can been seen in “Great White North”, a program which was aired on SCTV – second city television for the show’s most watched season when it moved to CBC Television in in the early 80s. Bob’s character is performed by actor Rick Moranis and Doug is performed by actor Dave Thomas. It was developed originally as filler to both fulfill and mock network Canadian content policies, the two transformed into a pop culture success in both Canada and the USA. The two soon became the focus of a huge comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
