In the video tutorial The Skeleton’s Waltz – Dave Thomas, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a group of imaginaryfunny Canadian family members who created “Great White North”, a ad lib skit which was televised on SCTV – second city television for the show’s most popular season when it aired by the Canadian Broadcasting Channel in the 80’s. Bob McKenzie is acted by comedian Rick Moranis and Doug McKenzie is performed by Dave Thomas. The sketch was developed originally as filler to both satisfy and laugh about network Canadian content guidelines, the duo turned into a pop culture success in both Canada and the USA. The brothers went on to become the focus of a bestselling comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
