In the video Twelve Days of Christmas (In the Style of Tony Bennett), Bob and Doug McKenzie are a duo of fictional Canadian family members who starred in “Great White North”, a program which was included on SCTV – second city television for the show’s most liked season when it aired by the Canadian Broadcasting Channel in the eighties. The character Bob McKenzie is played by hilarious comedian Rick Moranis and Doug’s part is acted by comic Dave Thomas. The sketch was made originally as a skit to both follow guidelines and make fun of dumb Canadian content rules, the brothers transformed into a pop culture hit in both Canada and the USA. The two soon became the focus of a classic comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
