Bob and Doug McKenzie in Twelve Days of Christmas

In the video Twelve Days of Christmas, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a pair of hysterical Canadian siblings who are responsible for “Great White North”, a program which was televised on SCTV for the show’s most liked season when it was featured on the Canadian Broadcasting Channel in the eighties. Bob is created by actor Rick Moranis and Doug’s part is created by the comedian Dave Thomas. The sketch was brought to life originally as a sketch to both please and laugh at stupid Canadian content laws, the siblings morphed into a pop culture phenomenon in both Canada and across the border. The characters enetually would become the focus of a hit comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
