Bob’s part is performed by Rick Moranis and Doug McKenzie’s part is acted by actor Dave Thomas. Which was created originally as a joke to both fulfill and laugh about non sensical Canadian content legislation, the siblings grew up to be a pop culture phenomenon in both Canada and across the border.
