Bob and Doug McKenzie in Twelve Days of Christmas pt 6

In the video Twelve Days of Christmas pt 6, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a duo of odd Canadian actors who are responsible for “Great White North”, a improv which was included on SCTV – second city television for the show’s most liked season when it got sent to CBC Television in 1980. The character Bob McKenzie is performed by comic Rick Moranis and the character Doug is played by the comedian Dave Thomas. The bit was developed originally as a joke to both satisfy and mock network Canadian content guidelines, the siblings transformed into a pop culture phenomenon in both Canada and the USA. The McKenzie brothers went on to become the focus of a classic comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
