Bob and Doug McKenzie in Twelve Days of Christmas

In the video Twelve Days of Christmas, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a couple of fictional Canadian brothers who were featured in “Great White North”, a skit which was televised on second city television for the show’s most popular season when it braodcast by the Canadian Broadcasting Channel in the 1980s. The character Bob McKenzie is created by comedian Rick Moranis and Doug is created by actor Dave Thomas. Which was born originally as a joke to both follow guidelines and laugh at non sensical Canadian content demands, the brothers transformed into a pop culture phenomenon in both Canada and the States. The two enetually would become the focus of a hit comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
