Bob and Doug McKenzie in Twelve Days Of Seattle Christmas

In the video Twelve Days Of Seattle Christmas, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a group of fictional Canadian brothers who are responsible for “Great White North”, a show which was featured on SCTV – second city television for the show’s most popular season when it moved to CBC Television in the year 1980. Bob’s character is played by Rick Moranis and Doug’s character is brought to life by Dave Thomas. The sketch was developed originally as fluff to both please and make fun of stupid Canadian content legislation, the duo became a pop culture phenomenon in both Canada and the United States. The McKenzie siblings became the focus of a an amazing comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
