In the video TWO SIDED on YouTube Live (Witch Laws & Dave Thomas: 6Oct22), Bob and Doug McKenzie are a pair of strange Canadian siblings who starred in “Great White North”, a improv which was introduced on second city television for the show’s most popular season when it got sent to the Canadian Broadcasting Channel in the eighties. Bob McKenzie is played by hilarious comedian Rick Moranis and Doug McKenzie is acted by actor Dave Thomas. Which was brought to life originally as a skit to both fulfill and laugh about non sensical Canadian content demands, the pair grew up to be a pop culture hit in both Canada and across the border. The McKenzie siblings went on to become the focus of a famous comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
