Bob and Doug McKenzie in Ugly & Ma’Toole – I Hate The Bloody Queen (December 2017)

In the video Ugly & Ma’Toole – I Hate The Bloody Queen (December 2017), Bob and Doug McKenzie are a couple of strange Canadian family members who can been seen in “Great White North”, a segment which was broadcast on SCTV – second city television for the show’s 3rd season when it braodcast by CBC Television in the eighties. Bob McKenzie is acted by comedian Rick Moranis and Doug’s character is acted by comic Dave Thomas. Regardless the fact it was created originally as a skit to both follow guidelines and makes jokes about dumb Canadian content demands, the duo morphed into a pop culture hit in both Canada and the US. The characters soon became the focus of a hit comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
