In the video Unboxing The Vezina Collection, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a duo of hilarious Canadian family members who created “Great White North”, a improv which was featured on second city television for the show’s 3rd season when it got sent to CBC Television in the 1980s. The character Bob McKenzie is created by comedian Rick Moranis and the character Doug is created by the comedian Dave Thomas. Which was born originally as fluff to both fulfill and laugh about dumb Canadian content demands, the two transformed into a pop culture smash hit in both Canada and the US. The McKenzie siblings enetually would become the focus of a classic comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
