In the video Unidentified synthesizer – Strange Brew (1983), Bob and Doug McKenzie are two of fictional Canadian siblings who are responsible for “Great White North”, a improv which was aired on second city television for the show’s most watched season when it got sold to the Canadian Broadcasting Channel in 1980. The character Bob McKenzie is created by actor Rick Moranis and Doug’s character is brought to life by comic Dave Thomas. Which was developed originally as a sketch to both follow guidelines and laugh at silly Canadian content statutes, the brothers transformed into a pop culture phenomenon in both Canada and the United States. The pair soon became the focus of a huge comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.

You know how people are remaking songs from the score from movies. I'd like to hear and see this one be done if its on a rare keyboard. So I'm guessing the one we see in the movie isnt actually it. Also, anyone else ever notice how Smith's Assistant shirt changed from blue to a sorta brownish white shirt in that scene.
The synthesizer is the Mcleyvier. It's extremely rare. Only a few were made, but electronic musician Laurie Spiegel did use one, was part of its development, etc. It's apparently a very powerful synthesizer (but also difficult).
