In the video Uzbek Officials Hilariously Unsure on How to Salute, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a pair of imaginaryfunny Canadian comedians who created “Great White North”, a sketch which was broadcast on second city television for the show’s most liked season when it was broadcast on the Canadian Broadcasting Channel in in the early 80s. Bob is brought to life by comic Rick Moranis and Doug McKenzie’s part is brought to life by comic Dave Thomas. It was created originally as a skit to both follow guidelines and mock stupid Canadian content laws, the characters grew up to be a pop culture success in both Canada and the United States. The brothers became the focus of a bestselling comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
