Bob and Doug McKenzie in Vinz Glortho

In the video Vinz Glortho, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a couple of odd Canadian family members who created “Great White North”, a sketch which was introduced on second city television for the show’s most liked season when it got sold to the Canadian Broadcasting Channel in the 80’s. Bob McKenzie is created by Rick Moranis and Doug’s part is brought to life by Dave Thomas. The sketch was developed originally as a joke to both fulfill and mock network Canadian content laws, the siblings grew up to be a pop culture hit in both Canada and the United States. The brothers soon became the focus of a classic comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
