Bob and Doug McKenzie in Voice Of Power Conference: The Great White North Canadian Tour

In the video Voice Of Power Conference: The Great White North Canadian Tour, Bob and Doug McKenzie are two of odd Canadian comedians who are responsible for “Great White North”, a ad lib skit which was shown on SCTV for the show’s third season when it aired by CBC Television in in the early 80s. Bob’s part is acted by comedian Rick Moranis and Doug McKenzie is played by the comedian Dave Thomas. It was developed originally as a skit to both fulfill and laugh at network Canadian content statutes, the brothers became a pop culture hit in both Canada and the United States. The characters later became the focus of a bestselling comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
