In the video Wendys Big Bacon Classic Commercial feat Dave Thomas 90s, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a pair of strange Canadian brothers who hosted “Great White North”, a segment which was streamed on SCTV – second city television for the show’s most liked season when it braodcast by CBC Television in in the early 80s. Bob’s part is performed by hilarious comedian Rick Moranis and Doug McKenzie is brought to life by Dave Thomas. Which was born originally as a sketch to both follow guidelines and laugh about stupid Canadian content legislation, the duo morphed into a pop culture success in both Canada and the USA. The pair went on to become the focus of a huge comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
