In the video What Ever Happened to Actor Rick Moranis?, Bob and Doug McKenzie are two of odd Canadian family members who created “Great White North”, a segment which was included on second city television for the show’s most popular season when it was broadcast on the Canadian Broadcasting Channel in the 1980s. Bob’s partThe character Bob is acted by comedian Rick Moranis and Doug is brought to life by Dave Thomas. Janet Jackson and wardrobe malfunction. Peanut butter and jelly. Sonny and Cher. Some things just go together. Sort of how I feel about Canadian-American actor Rick Moranis and the movies Honey, I Shrunk the Kids or Ghostbusters. Whenever I hear his name, I have immediate flashbacks of oversized Cheerios and milk splashing out of a giant bowl. But what happened to the guy with horn-rimmed glasses? What is he doing now?

Poor guy. I heard he was unhappy with his agent and ate him.
Legend
A good man. And a good father.
When his kids are grown, he might go back to films.
And then one day he turned up in a video with Ryan Reynolds and was randomly assaulted in NYC. Hopefully the Honey I Shrunk the Kids thing with him happens.
Wow that’s a lot of back to back lengthy quotes. You owe Rick some royalties.
I've read that he is coming out of retirement for a 'Honey I Shrunk The Kids' sequel/reboot with Ryan Reynolds. At this time called just 'Shrunk". Sep 24 2020
Good for you Rick! We miss you in the movies, but it's for a good cause. You're a great dad!
He's back baby!
Stil love his films
Rick Moranis is a true Father…
Parenthood
Okay, but those kids are in their 30s and have been adults for a long long time so …what else has he been doin?
Always liked him
SCTV, Bob and Doug Mackenzie, Strange Brew, Ghostbusters, Spaceballs, Honey I shrunk the kids, The Flinstones, Little Shop of Horrors, Parenthood, My Blue Heaven, Honey I blew up the kid. When your last movie goes straight to video its not a hard thing to choose to stay at home. Still he made a good choice for his children.
I thought he had died or something. He really did just quit showbiz cold-turkey.
I'm really happy that he's alive and I'm especially blown away by how on point his moral compass is compared to the rest of Hollywood.
If even 10% more dads were willing to make such an effort to be there for their kids, the world might be a unrecognizably better place.
Yea talk about a man worth admiring
He’s one of my favorite actors♥️ such a huge influencer
Honey I raised the kids.
Meh. Hollywood isn't like what it used to be, anyway.
