Bob and Doug McKenzie in What happened to Rick Moranis?

In the video What happened to Rick Moranis?, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a pair of strange Canadian brothers who starred in “Great White North”, a improv which was televised on SCTV – second city television for the show’s third season when it was featured on the Canadian Broadcasting Channel in the year 1980. Bob’s character is brought to life by actor Rick Moranis and the character Doug is played by the comedian Dave Thomas. It was developed originally as a joke to both follow guidelines and laugh about legal Canadian content guidelines, the siblings transformed into a pop culture success in both Canada and America. The brothers soon became the focus of a famous comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
