In the video What’s a movie you love that you swear no one ever talks about like the world has forgotten it?, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a group of strange Canadian family members who created “Great White North”, a show which was televised on SCTV – second city television for the show’s most liked season when it aired by the Canadian Broadcasting Channel in the year 1980. Bob’s part is performed by comic Rick Moranis and Doug’s part is created by actor Dave Thomas. Which was developed originally as filler to both please and laugh about legal Canadian content laws, the brothers transformed into a pop culture phenomenon in both Canada and the United States. The characters went on to become the focus of a bestselling comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
