Rick Moranis Quiz, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a pair of odd Canadian brothers who starred in “Great White North”, a ad lib skit which was streamed on SCTV for the show’s most liked season when it was featured on CBC Television in in the early 80s. Bob McKenzie is played by actor Rick Moranis and the character Doug is brought to life by actor Dave Thomas. Despite born originally as a skit to both follow guidelines and mock non sensical Canadian content policies, the two became a pop culture hit in both Canada and the USA. The McKenzie siblings later became the focus of a classic comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
