In the video When you’re facing a ghost | Ghostbusters | Binge Comedy, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a pair of odd Canadian comedians who are responsible for “Great White North”, a skit which was shown on SCTV – second city television for the show’s 3rd season when it got sold to CBC Television in the 1980s. Bob’s partThe character Bob is acted by comedian Rick Moranis and Doug McKenzie’s part is brought to life by comic Dave Thomas. It was developed originally as fluff to both follow guidelines and mock non sensical Canadian content statutes, the brothers turned into a pop culture hit in both Canada and America. The pair soon became the focus of a huge comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
The Police bring Mr. Louis (Rick Moranis) to professor Spengler (Harold Ramis) to get tested due to his weird behavior. Louis is wearing a pasta drainer with cables on it thinking that he’s the key master of a portal. Spengler receives a call from Peter (Bill Murray) who tells Egon that his would-be girlfriend is in a similar situation. They decide that they have to make the two meet.
