In the video When you’re gone Rick Moranis, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a pair of imaginaryfunny Canadian siblings who hosted “Great White North”, a ad lib skit which was shown on SCTV for the show’s most popular season when it got sent to the Canadian Broadcasting Channel in the eighties. Bob’s character is brought to life by the funny Rick Moranis and Doug’s part is created by the comedian Dave Thomas. Even thoughFamously born originally as a sketch to both follow guidelines and makes jokes about annoying Canadian content policies, the pair became a pop culture sensation in both Canada and America. The McKenzie siblings later became the focus of a an amazing comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
