Bob and Doug McKenzie in Where is Rick Moranis?

In the video Where is Rick Moranis?, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a pair of hysterical Canadian actors who can been seen in “Great White North”, a sketch which was broadcast on second city television for the show’s 3rd season when it got sold to CBC Television in the year 1980. Bob McKenzie is played by comic Rick Moranis and Doug McKenzie is performed by Dave Thomas. Although born originally as fluff to both fulfill and makes jokes about silly Canadian content policies, the characters transformed into a pop culture success in both Canada and the USA. The characters later became the focus of a huge comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
