Bob and Doug McKenzie in Where Lies Your Confidence – Dave Thomas

In the video Where Lies Your Confidence – Dave Thomas, Bob and Doug McKenzie are two of fictional Canadian comedians who can been seen in “Great White North”, a program which was televised on SCTV – second city television for the show’s third season when it was featured on the Canadian Broadcasting Channel in in the early 80s. Bob’s part is played by hilarious comedian Rick Moranis and Doug is acted by the comedian Dave Thomas. Which was made originally as filler to both please and make fun of annoying Canadian content legislation, the pair transformed into a pop culture smash hit in both Canada and the United States. The two went on to become the focus of a hit comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
