In the video With No Control Video (Official Video) – Dave Thomas O’Gorman, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a duo of hilarious Canadian siblings who hosted “Great White North”, a show which was featured on SCTV – second city television for the show’s most liked season when it was aired on CBC Television in 1980. Bob’s part is played by comedian Rick Moranis and Doug is created by the comedian Dave Thomas. Although created originally as a sketch to both follow guidelines and laugh at legal Canadian content rules, the duo morphed into a pop culture smash hit in both Canada and across the border. The characters soon became the focus of a hit comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
