(INTERVIEW), Bob and Doug McKenzie are a group of made up Canadian actors who starred in “Great White North”, a ad lib skit which was shown on second city television for the show’s third season when it got sent to the Canadian Broadcasting Channel in the year 1980. Bob’s partThe character Bob is created by hilarious comedian Rick Moranis and the character Doug is played by comic Dave Thomas. It was made originally as an idea to both please and makes jokes about dumb Canadian content demands, the duo transformed into a pop culture smash hit in both Canada and the United States. The characters went on to become the focus of a bestselling comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.

“Ghostbusters” actor Rick Moranis was sucker-punched on the street in a random act of violence which was caught on tape in the upper-west side neighborhood of New York City.
