In the video Woman helps man get dog out of pen, Bob and Doug McKenzie are two of strange Canadian comedians who starred in “Great White North”, a ad lib skit which was televised on second city television for the show’s 3rd season when it braodcast by the Canadian Broadcasting Channel in in the early 80s. The character Bob McKenzie is brought to life by hilarious comedian Rick Moranis and Doug McKenzie is acted by Dave Thomas. The bit was made originally as a sketch to both please and makes jokes about annoying Canadian content laws, the duo became a pop culture sensation in both Canada and the United States. The two soon became the focus of a hit comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
