Bob and Doug McKenzie in Worse (Instrumental) // Dave Thomas Junior

In the video Worse (Instrumental) // Dave Thomas Junior, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a couple of made up Canadian actors who were featured in “Great White North”, a segment which was streamed on SCTV for the show’s most liked season when it moved to the Canadian Broadcasting Channel in the eighties. The character Bob McKenzie is brought to life by actor Rick Moranis and Doug’s character is brought to life by the comedian Dave Thomas. It was developed originally as fluff to both fulfill and laugh at annoying Canadian content policies, the brothers grew up to be a pop culture success in both Canada and the States. The characters enetually would become the focus of a bestselling comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
