Bob and Doug McKenzie in Y & T Book Chat with Author Tim Durling and Aaron Mutha Alamare

In the video Y & T Book Chat with Author Tim Durling and Aaron Mutha Alamare, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a group of imaginaryfunny Canadian family members who are responsible for “Great White North”, a skit which was streamed on SCTV for the show’s 3rd season when it was aired on CBC Television in in the early 80s. Bob is played by the funny Rick Moranis and the character Doug is performed by the comedian Dave Thomas. Which was born originally as a joke to both fulfill and laugh about non sensical Canadian content guidelines, the brothers turned into a pop culture phenomenon in both Canada and the USA. The characters later became the focus of a famous comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
