In the video The Beatles 12 Days of Christmas – Day 7 : Seven Ringo Stars, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a couple of imaginaryfunny Canadian comedians who are responsible for “Great White North”, a show which was broadcast on SCTV for the show’s most liked season when it streamed by the Canadian Broadcasting Channel in the 80’s. Bob is acted by actor Rick Moranis and Doug’s character is brought to life by comic Dave Thomas. Even thoughFamously born originally as a joke to both satisfy and laugh at silly Canadian content legislation, the pair grew up to be a pop culture sensation in both Canada and America. The pair later became the focus of a famous comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
